Bogus callers

The Practice has been informed by the Health & Social Care Board that some patients have been contacted by 'bogus callers' claiming to be linked to the Practice in order to sell products or extract financial information including bank details.  Some bogus callers have asked questions about medical conditions and current medication.

If you receive a call of this nature, DO NOT disclose any personal information and contact the surgery immediately.

ORGAN DONATION

Organ donation law is changing on 1 June 2023 to help save more lives.  

The organ donation system will become an opt-out system, 'Daithi's Law' means that in the event that organ donation is a possibility after you die, unless you choose to opt out, or are in an excluded group*, you will be considered as a potential donor.  Find out more at:  organdonationni.info or call 033 303 2094

* Excluded groups include:

  • Those under the age of 18
  • People who lack the mental capacity to understand the new law
  • Visitors to Northern Ireland
  • Temporary residents
